Transformational Tantra Massage Year Long Training
This professional and accredited training has been developed to set a benchmark and standard for what Tantra Massage should stand for at the highest pinnacle of this art. The training is about learning to give and receive tantric massage as an initiation into Tantra. It has been running for many years and is based on John Hawken’s body of work, developed over 35 years of working with singles, people in relationship and groups. He is one of Europe’s original and foremost tantra teachers and perhaps the first to actively combine and teach tantric, shamanic and bio-energetic wisdom.
This is a deep experiential course aimed at new and existing practitioners as well as those wanting to pursue a personal journey through tantra massage. It is a unique opportunity to dive deeply into the art of tantra massage, opening up and expanding the capacity of our energy bodies. We teach tantric massage as an initiation into the ancient path of Tantra, which is what this sacred practice in its highest form is designed to be.
For those wishing to embark on a professional career, the full training is recognised by ASIS (the Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists) and the Trusted Bodywork organisation as offering the breadth and depth they require to enrol and list practitioners. It is also possible to get professional insurance through this course.
***What is Transformational Tantra massage?***
For many people who want to explore Tantra, tantra massage is where they begin and offers them their first experience of ‘tantra’. However, the word Tantra has been widely misappropriated and used to sell sexual services, disguised under the banner of tantric massage. Even the best-intentioned massages often over-emphasize the sexual aspect of Tantra, which is fundamentally an ancient practice that opens the door to an experience of ourselves as beings of energy and consciousness. The Paths of Transformation teachings create a journey that invites the receiver to connect to who they really are and, through conscious choice, to bring transformation into their life. For that reason we call the massages that we teach Transformational Tantra Massage. Thus in so doing meet one of the definitions of tantra which invites expansion of oneself.
***Who is this Training For?***
This course is designed for people who:
• Want, through tantra massage, to experience healing, aliveness, pleasure and transformation.
• Wish to dive deeply into the practice of tantra massage
• Are a couple and wish to explore together their experience of touch and connection (which they can choose to practice together or to work with others)
• Are existing massage practitioners who wish to expand their repertoire of practice and techniques and who enjoy the philosophy of tantra as well as the practices
• Those who are interested in becoming a qualified and experienced professional tantra massage practitioner (as par of the yearlong training)
THIS WORKSHOP IS OPEN TO INDIVIDUALS & COUPLES / TRIADS / OTHER CONSTELLATIONS OF ALL GENDERS, SEXUALITIES & BODY TYPES.
*** Professional Certification for those who progress to the year long training ***
There is additional training and supervision for those who move on to do the yearlong training and want to become practitioners and practitioner certification is dependent on your own integration and embodiment of the path. This is delivered remotely, so you can continue your certification from home.
Those completing the 200 hours of training and the supervision and certification requirements will be awarded Professional Practitioner Certification. Those who are fully certified will have their names published on the Transformational Tantra Massage website.

Block 1: Essentials invites you to understand the essential components of Tantra Massage. It can be done stand-alone and also provides an ideal introduction into our year long training which allows you to move more deeply into the transformative elements of Tantra Massage. You can sign up for this as stand-alone or it can also serve as Block 1 of our yearlong training. If you choose to do this training as a stand- alone and then feel afterwards that you want to explore further, then there will be an opportunity to sign up to the full training.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME AND EXPERIENCE THIS ESSENTIALS BLOCK BEFORE SIGNING-UP TO THE OTHER 3 BLOCKS AND WE HAVE PRICING TO REFLECT THIS.
We are running two Essentials trainings and will bring together all participants who wish to study further to run a single consolidated training for Blocks 2 – 4 (which is then a closed group).
