Investigating Erotic Archetypes through dance, touch and creativity.

In the spirit of Halloween, “My Naked Mask” is an invitation to play with our erotic masks. Rather than thinking of a mask as something we hide behind, we will explore this theme as a tool to help us discover different facets of ourselves in playful, creative, and delicious ways.
Using tools of dance, touch and other forms of creative expression to investigate these facets of ourselves and each other, we will explore embodied responses to some of these questions:
- How can we show up naked, unveiled, and authentic, while at the same time consciously playing with our masks?
- What happens when we trade our familiar masks for new ones?
- What new discoveries might we make?
My Naked Mask, taking place on October 31 and November 1, is a delicious twist to Samhain festivals. And as we move towards the darker half of the year, we’re going to invite discovery and expression to our erotic aspects in an experiential safe(r) space that brings freedom, fun and sexual creativity to life.
This workshop is split into two days that can be booked individually or together as a full weekend immersion.
- Day 1 is a workshop vibe.
- Day 2 is a party / playground vibe.
All CLOSER workshops invite us into our sense of aliveness by offering permission to the erotic life force energy that nourishes our unique way of being in this world. Rather than relegating the erotic to a compartment of life or narrowing it down to the sexual, we allow creativity, openness, integrity and vulnerability. These workshops are open to everyone, creating a space for different sexual orientations and experiences.
Day 1 — Saturday 10am – 6pm
Explore
We’ll take time to explore and develop our different erotic facets, our erotic masks with playful yet profound inquiry.
Through a unique and specific combination of embodied techniques, Day 1 offers a guided process to feel and explore a variety of archetypes and personalised erotic energies. Day 2 provides a space to express and play with these erotic energies.
We’ll bring curiosity to:
- How can wearing a mask and embodying a role (archetype) give expression to parts of me that otherwise don’t come to the surface?
- How may I give form to what I discover within an experimental and safe(r) space?
- Could these archetypes offer me a new way of relating to myself? To others?
- Can I try things I don’t usually allow myself to explore?
We’ll use tools of:
- 5Rhythms® Dance
- Sexological Bodywork®
- Expressive arts — writing, painting
- Games and sharing
- Touch and massage
No previous experience necessary.
Together, we will drop away from daily surroundings, and gently land into ourselves to meet our eroticism through the body x dance x creativity.
Day 2 — Sunday 11am – 4pm
Express
Day 2 is a creative playground to express all your Erotic Archetypes. We’ll begin the day with grounding exercises, guided touch and sharing followed by a 3 hour free flow.
This is a delicious opportunity to celebrate all our Erotic Masks, inviting our juicy aliveness to be seen, to be held and to drop into embodied contact with each other. Stepping into the portal to be in all our essence with awareness, sensuality, wildness, tenderness …. and all that is alive within us!
At the heart of Day 2, a 3hour live DJ set will carry us through the free flow with spaces to dance, to draw, to play and to rest.
We’ll bring curiosity, non-judgement and openness to EXPRESS:
- How does my energy want to be expressed, witnessed, met?
- What do I long to offer, and what am I ready to receive?
- What lives more freely in me, once I give space to these parts of me?

Samar Linn and Markus Habibi created project CLOSER; which is based in Berlin, as a unique, experiential approach to celebrate the Erotic as a creative life force. All workshops engage with a multi-layered exploration of eroticism that includes sexuality, desire, intimacy, fantasy, aesthetics such as clothing and even engages the mind.
CLOSER is devoted to all forms of erotic expression and does not focus on specific practices, yet all are invited. We acknowledge and make space for all the feelings that accompany us such as fear, shame, guilt, sadness. And yes, to joy too. Of course the body plays a key role in our expression and we create many methods to listen to, express and move the sensations.
CLOSER events are open to all, creating a safe(r) space for different horizons, sexual orientations and experiences. Whether you are comfortable and familiar with these topics, or exploring them for the first time, you are invited to join us.
About Samar Linn
Samar has a promiscuous love affair with music, is enamored by dance and is a curious investigator of freedom of expression. She is a certified 5Rhythms® teacher, a trained Integrative Coach and Bodyworker. Samar runs a range of workshops and regular classes to bring more curiosity to ourselves, openness to our uniqueness and permission to embrace the magic in daily life. Her raw attitude, vulnerability and fascination in ways to embody freedom of expression provide an electric, creative and safe environment.
Samar co-facilitates project CLOSER which is a dedicated space to investigate the erotic pulse through regular workshops, retreats and playgrounds.
About Markus Habibi
Markus firmly believes that only creative expression offers a way to avoid being lost in the whirl of the mundane. This expression gives shape to a language that connects us with ourselves and with the world. It may emerge in words, in dance, in visual art, or in erotic expression.
He offers creative and erotic explorations that cultivate integrity, playfulness, depth, and an awareness of the “space in between“. His workshops are not about delivering ready-made truths, but about opening spaces for co-creation where participants develop their own language and deepen communication, intimacy, and embodied presence. He is certified in Sexological Bodywork® and a passionate and experienced dancer.
